Job Description

Southsea Investments (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a highly motivated Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our business. As a key member of our team, the Operations Manager will provide guidance and support to various departments, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient processes. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence and contribute to the growth of the renewable energy sector. .

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Craft compelling proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), aligning them with organizational goals and customer requirements.
2. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop competitive and successful bids for the acquisition of new O&M sites.
3. Oversee the billing and invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, while implementing robust tracking mechanisms to monitor payment status and revenue generation.
4. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers for Residential Solar PV distribution and Commercial & Industrial Installations, leveraging market insights and networking opportunities.
5. Conduct market research to gather intelligence on industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities, maintaining a comprehensive database for reference and analysis.
6. Provide inputs for project costing, including cost estimation and budgeting, and ensure effective realization of cost targets for O&M projects.
7. Identify opportunities for cost optimization within O&M operations and implement strategies to enhance revenue recovery.
8. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with commercial regulations, conduct due diligence activities, and effectively manage O&M contracts.
9. Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, HR, admin, and other departments to address O&M-related issues and streamline operational processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Education: BE/ B.Tech – Electrical, MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in O&M of solar projects.
3. Proven track record in practical project management.
4. Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and PDF applications
