Job Positions

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1. Associate Director, Climate and Renewable Energy – Online Application
2. Senior Manager – Digital Economy / Youth, MSME and Entrepreneurship – Online Application

Qualifications and Experience Required For the Position of Associate Director

1. First Degree in the Sciences, Engineering, Economics or related field. A post graduate qualification in a relevant field would be essential.
2. At least 15 years’ work experience in the international development sector, seven (7) of which must have been focused on climate change or renewable energy programs.
3. Track record of success in writing proposals and winning engagements.
4. Established relationships and networks within development finance institutions and institutional donors with significant climate change portfolios.

Qualifications and Experience Required For the Position of Senior Manager

1. First Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, ICT, or related field. A post graduate qualification in a relevant field would be essential.
2. At least 10 years’ experience with major multilateral donor institutions working on various youth and MSME development programs, preferably in Africa.
3. At least 5 years of experience supporting the development of the digital economy in a number of African countries.
4. Track record of success in writing proposals and winning engagements.
5. Established relationships and networks with institutional donors with a thematic focus on the digital economy, youth and entrepreneurship.

General Skills and Competences

1. Good communication (written and verbal),numeracy, presentation and analyticalskills
2. IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office
3. Team player with leadership capability
4. Excellent coordination and planning skills
