Job Positions

The organization is recruiting to fill the vacant positions listed below:

1. General Manager – Online Application
2. Customer Support Specialist – Online Application

Main Responsibilities of the Position of the General Manger

1. Lead the financial and strategic planning process and be responsible for its implementation for Nigeria
2. Define, implement and optimize local business and operational strategies/goals with the local operations team
3. Advocating and elevating Bolt’s brand, product and service by working closely with local authorities and policy makers
4. Expand Bolt’s presence and services across the country
5. Establish strategic partnerships with local fleet owners and other relevant businesses/entities
6. Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities on a local level that may impact the business
7. Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Product, Legal or Marketing to develop and execute key initiatives that drives growth and efficiency
8. Take ownership of Bolt’s growth in Nigeria by ensuring both local operations and HQ teams support and collaborate actively with each other to meet business goals.

Educational Qualifications and Competencies Required For the Position of the General Manger

1. You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or other analytical subject
2. You have 7+ years of experience in an operations management or general management role
3. You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written) in English
4. You are a hustler, not stopping after several obstacles a day
5. You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel skills
6. You are passionate about new technologies and ridesharing
7. You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach
8. You are comfortable with developing business frameworks to support your strategies and decisions

Main Responsibilities of the Position of the Customer Support Specialist

1. Represent Bolt in Nigeria
2. Support Bolt’s Ride-hailing users and help them get the most out of our apps
3. Support our business partners in daily interactions with our users
4. Create loyal fans by showing them we really care.
5. Contribute and share ideas to decrease the workload and improve the quality & speed of Bolt’s customer support

Educational Qualifications and Competencies Required For the Position of Customer Support Specialist

1. You understand what outstanding customer support looks like and be ready to go the extra mile
2. You welcome challenges with an open mind and see them as opportunities
3. You are always ready to put customers first and be passionate about helping others
4. You can apply an analytical approach as to why customer support is contacted in the first place and be ready to tell the story to other teams within Bolt
5. You are a hustler, not stopping after 20 obstacles a day
